Hilarious

FAQ - India

India holds a certain sense of mystery for the world outside its borders. Read on to find how curious foreigners are about India and its ways or rather read on to find out how dumb and ignorant they are about our beautiful country. This was taken from a tourism blog where people could post queries if they were planning on making a trip to India.

The answers are the actual responses by the website officials, who demonstrate tolerance and excellent sense of humor.

The background music is excerpts from my program held in Madikeri during "Raama Navami".

This is a video of Sudhanva's naming ceremony and a small trek with Nandu, Apoorva, Bava carrying Sudhanva and Hari.
About the trek, I had to climb with all my limbs(rather crawled). After reaching on top, there were orange trees amidst Coffee plants. We plucked and ate them(In fact stole them ;)). Came back through the forest route. Saw flying frog which sat still instead of flying after seeing us.
Thoroughly enjoyed it....

Trip to OOty

Last week I and Hari had gone to Madikeri to attend Aparna's marriage(Hari's cousin). Since Hari had leave on friday as well as monday, we thought of going to OOty.
After the "gowji and gammattu" of the wedding, we started early morning from madikeri to mysore. From mysore immediately we got a bus to OOty. A Volvo.
The bus was quite full. As the ghats started one by one ppl started puking. Ewww... God it was horrible. I was a relief when we reached ooty at 2.30 in d noon.
After lot of searching and all we got a nice room near the boat house with a good view of the lake. We took rest for some time and did some shopping near by. What we observed was dat Woollen sweaters are very cheap in Ooty.
Next day we booked a car and went to "mudumalai" trip. On the way we went to pykara falls, Kamraj dam, Horse riding and a shootin spot(film shooting:). But entire ooty can be considered as a shooting spot. The landscape cannot be described in words.
After travelling for around 70 km we reached "mudumalai". "Mudumalai" is a forest area. From there after a one hour safari in side the jungle we headed back to Oooty. This time from a short route of 36 km from mudumalai through masinagudi, The ghats were excellent with 36 hairpin curves!!!
The next day Hari's friend took us to his house and then we went to Botanical Garden. The place was swarming with tourists. But I observed that it was the only clean place in the entire Ooty city. From there we went back to our room, checked out and had food in a hotel. Then as there was still time for our Bus to go back to mysore, we went to the rose garden. There were hundreds of variety of roses there. After clicking few pics, we headed back to the bus stand.
We reached Mysore at around 9.30 and had food in a hotel near the bus stand, and then climbed a bus to Bangalore.

Kacheri Season

Bangalore can be called as the musical hub of Karnataka (mysore coming next in the list) and there s no dearth for music concerts here. Kacheris take place all through out the year.
Last week I had been to Sanjay Subramaniam's program. It was a very nice concert and the accompanists were truly amazing. I think the younger artistes need to learn a lot from these masters who really show the spirit as accompanists rather than trying to steal away the show from the main Singer.Altogether the concert was good.
There will be many more concerts in the coming days and i am eagerly waiting to attend to the programs of some of my favourite artistes.
I am having a few programs in the next few days and i got to practice harder this time.
Thats all for now....
